144 – I FINALLY WATCHED AN ENTIRE, FULL JAN 6TH HEARING TONIGHT (An Editorial)

Up to this point, I have generally just watched and read the summaries of previous hearings, and certainly the rebroadcast of testimonies, particularly of Cassidy Hutchinson. 

But FOX news never even broadcast this at all tonight.  All FOX news viewers saw tonight were Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.  So the people who most need to see this never even got the chance.

Anything new tonight?  Not much.  We’ve all known what happened and that Trump did nothing to stop the insurrection on January 6^th because he believed it was his last chance to disrupt the official confirmation of Joe Biden as the new President.

But tonight just put everything into clear, minute-by-minute, in-your-face clarity. 

Donald Trump is the pathetic excuse

for a human being,

and the Constitutionally treasonous

piece of human waste

that any sane individual always has known

that he is now,

and that he always has been.

The Democrats have done little to be revered – in any way, sense or form.

But to in any way consider what has happened, regardless of what type of President you may believe Joe Biden has been, to be a reason to for some way to give Republicans the ability to control either seat of Congress is …

complete, utter, insanity and lunacy.

Republicans FINALLY had a very brief moment of sanity immediately following the events of January 6^th.  Tonight reinforced that leaders like McConnell and McCarthy initially realized just how disgusting and despicable Trump’s behavior was. 

But we know that their all encompassing thirst for political power quickly overwhelmed whatever bare minimum of honor, honesty or integrity they might have momentarily expressed.

If Republicans manage to gain control of either the House or Senate this November, then that will be a testament to the power of out of control Gerrymandering, and of unabashed voter suppression, and of the heavy hand of the existing Supreme Court.

If you still have any allegiance to Donald Trump, or if you have any question whatsoever that the election of Joe Biden was anything other than free and fair …

Then consider how you will,

 in any possible way,

justify this to your children

or to your grandchildren.
