QUICK QUIPS: THE ONE QUESTION THAT DEMOCRATS SHOULD ASK TODAY …

Abuse of Power has been getting almost all of the attention this past week, and especially from Trump’s “defense” team.  But I think the real key to the entire impeachment proceeding is the charge of Obstruction of Congress.

There has been absolutely no attempt by the defense team to address that impeachment charge at all.  How can it possibly be disputed?  Trump has done IN SPADES what Nixon only attempted to do, and what was one of Nixon’s impeachment articles.  Has anyone argued that Trump did not obstruct Congress?  Of course not.

So here is the question.

“If Trump is not convicted on the charge of Obstruction of Congress, then why on Earth should any future President be expected to obey a Congressional subpoena ever again?”

The Constitutional separation between the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch would forever be broken.

Defend THAT !
